Baubles !

This is my card for 2 different challenges, Carol's Sketch fun and also for Winter Wonderland which is any theme. I started by sponging Kaiser acrylic paint in Pistachio onto some white card. I then masked off the centre of the card and sponged Kaiser paint in Olive on the top and bottom of the card. I then masked off the top and bottom and stamped a Paper Artsy stamp with Archival black ink in the centre piece. The edge is punched wiht a Martha Stewart punch. The background paper is Basic Grey and I've stamped a Crafty Individuals stamp in black Archival ink and highlighted some of the swirls with a white Inkssentials pen. The baubles were cut out with my Cricut Christmas Cheer cartridge, then I painted them with H2Os and I also used some Viva metallic paint in copper to give them some shine. The star was put through my Cuttlebug using the Christmas stars embossing folder, I sprayed it with gold Glimmer Mist then added the Viva paint.

The ribbon is a really rich colour but unfortunately the photo doesn't do it justice. I've threaded it through a star ribbon brad.
Well I've had a really indulgent day today, starting off with a leisurely breakfast while I did some blog hopping. I popped into the village to the new craft shop that's open, and picked up some ribbon and buttons, the above is one of the ribbons. I didn't get any where near as much done as I wanted, I guess that's what happens when you think you've got all the time in the world !

Orange plus one !

This has to have been the worst card to photograph ever ! I think I've spent the last hour fiddling around and it still isn't true to life, but I've given up now ! So, this card is for 3 challenges; Secret Crafter - Orange plus one colour; Crazy 4 Challenges - It's all geometric ! ; Our Creative Corner - sketch. The main image and word are from a PaperArtsy set of stamps. I've stamped in black Archival ink and cut the main image out with Labels 1 Nestabilities and the word with Labels 9 Nestabilities. I've sponged some black ink around both as I they looked too clean ! The side panel is black card which I've put through the Cuttlebug using the Victoria embossing folder then I've rubbed Viva Copper metallic paint over the top. In real life it looks stunning, unfortunately it's lost the effect on the photo. The background paper is Basic Grey and I've used a Fiskars edge punch across the bottom edge.

I thought from this angle you would see the Viva paint better....wrong !
I can't believe it 's Friday already, this time last week I was packing my case for the ArtsyCraft week end ! I've got a quiet day planned for tomorrow which I'm really looking forward to. Hopefully most of it will be spent in my craft room....fingers crossed !

One for the men !

This is for the Willow Sketchie Challenge and also for the DT call over on Cards for Men. The deadline for the DT call is 30 October so I'm just going to get this in, in time ! It's quite nicely timed as it's my other half's, dad's birthday soon so I took the chance to make his card now. All of the stamps apart from the sentiment are from a set of Impression Obsession stamps that I picked up in the bargain basket at the local craft shop. The background on the small square has been stamped with Archival Sepia ink then some Adirondack Caramel has been sponged over the top. The word 'dad' has been stamped in black Archival ink. The panel at the side has been stamped with a fleur de lys stamp in Antique Linen Distress ink . The smaller fleur de lys have been stamped with Vintage Photo Distress ink. Labels One Nestabilities has been used and the background card has been stamped in Caramel Adirondack ink using a stamp from the IO set that has tiny fleur de lys all over it. The sentiment is from a Papermania set of stamps, stamped in black Archival onto Basic Grey paper then sponged with Adirondack Caramel ink.

I've used brads in the corners and cut pieces of Basic Grey paper to make the corner pieces.

So as promised last night I need to share this wonderful award and also I need to tell you 5 things about myself. So here goes:

1. I hate cooking !

2. I hate housework !

3. Autumn is my favourite season, so I'm loving it at the moment with all the wonderful colours.

4. I love the run up to Christmas, I think that's the best part.

5. Yes, I am a Neighbours fan !

So to finish off I am passing this award to the following wonderful ladies :

I always think it's wonderful to receive an award and by passing it on you make someone else smile, like I did when I received it.

All White !

This is my card for 4 different challenges; C.R.A.F.T challenge- Anniversary; Colour Create - All White; One Stop Craft challenge - Celebration and Die Cut Dreams - Wedded Bliss ( inc anniversary). The hearts were embossed with white EP and mounted onto some silver card. The small square has been embossed with the Victoria Cuttlebug embossing folder and then sprayed with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist. The large square is just normal white card and then I've used a corner punch on it. The base card has been stamped with a Crafty Individuals stamp which has been embossed with white EP. The flower has been made with an EK Success punch and I've used a scrap piece of vellum with the words Happy Anniversary on it and stuck a small flower in the centre.

I've put a piece of brown card in the background as my camera did not like trying to focus on an all white card on a white background ! It really was going to look like a snowman in a snow storm !
We've had a lovely day here today the sun has shone all day, and to top it off I've been given a lovely award by two fellow bloggers, Vic and Lynda. I will post the award tomorrow as I need to think of 5 things to tell you about me and I can only just keep my eyes open now, so it will have to wait till tomorrow. But a big thank you ladies, it's really appreciated.

Tick Tock !

This card is for 2 challenges, Tanda Teaser which is Tick Tock and for the Mojo Monday sketch. The text stamp and the background cog stamp are both from a Paper Artsy set of stamps ( purchased at the week end !). I stamped the cogs in Adirondack Caramel onto the Bazill card and added some faux stitching around the edge. The text was stamped onto cream card and then painted with Juniper, Gold and Coffee Shop Glimmer Mists and cut out with a circle Nestability. The paper is Basic Grey and the fob watch is from a very old Rubbadubbado stamp set. I've added some Glossy Accents to the small clock on the fob watch and swiped Vintage Photo Distress Ink around the edge.

I've not had much time tonight as I went out straight from work for a meal. It's all starting to look very Christmassy in the shop windows, I can't quite get my head around it just yet. Where has this year gone !

Catching up !

What an absolutely fantastic week end ! Above is the main project which we made over the 2 days and below are the smaller projects that we made in between.

This close up shot shows the detail of the metal work and also of the texture and the paint colours on the clock face. I've used so many products for the first time it was fabulous!

These were the smaller projects and some of the techniques included painting with Glimmer Mists, using a melting pot, using grunge paper and using crackle accents.

These are the outside covers, all of the birds on the arched book are made from a metal sheet.
It was so lovely to craft in day light hours and to be among like minded crafters...absolute bliss ! I have to say after driving home for 1 1/2hours I was absolutely shattered, but in a good way. I was actually one of the closest to the venue, there were ladies there who had travelled from Edinburgh, Holland and France !
If you are interested in going on one of these week ends I would thoroughly recommend it. Keep you eye on Lin's blog or on the L B Crafts web page.

Will be back on Sunday to share what I've been up to !

Susie's Sassy Challenge !

Susie at Sassy Designs has got a DT call out to join her team, you need to make a Christmas card and submit it by midnight on 27 October. So if you're interested make sure you hop over to Susie's blog !

So this is my card for the DT call and also for the Pink Elephant challenge, which is a sketch and also for the Die Cut Dreams challenge of Winter Wonderland. The main image is from the Elusive Images set called Christmas Flourish and has been stamped with Versamark and then embossed with a wonderful Tinsel EP called Snowflake. It really does sparkle in the light, which unfortunately you can't see on the photo ! I then used a Versamark pen around the edge of the card and embossed with the same EP. I didn't want it to look perfect so I smudged the Versamark a little. The paper is Basic Grey and this paper is actually the same sheet as it's double sided so blends together perfectly, the edge punch is by Fiskars. The snowflake brads were silver when they started out, but I felt they were too shiny and the wrong colour, so I used gold alcohol ink on them. I punched the snowflakes from white card and then used Distress inks on them before using the Versamark pen and then the EP on them.

The sentiment is also from the Elusive Images set which I've stamped in Adirondack Stream ink and then swiped the ink pad around the edge of the paper.

I decided to add some detail to the inside of this card and used a corner stamp from a Habico set of stamps. I stamped it first onto a piece of scrap paper then onto the Basic Grey paper so it was paler in colour. I think this photo has come out a little blurred, unless it's me...lol....!
Nearly the end of the week and only one more day before a very exciting week end......I'm booked onto the ArtsyCraft Week end run by Lin at LB Designs...and I am soooooo excited ! It's 2 full days of sheer indulgence and from the comments on Lin's blog from the people who attended last week end I won't be disappointed. Yippeee !

Something a bit different !

This card is a complete change from my 'norm' and it took me ages to do too ! It fits with the below challenges:

The main image is from a Personal Impressions set of stamps, which I've stamped in black Memento ink and then shaded with Pro Markers and Faber Castell pens. I've then cut him out with Labels 8 Nestabilities and before removing the die I've sponged Antique Linen and Scattered Straw Distress inks around the edge. The 3 papers are all Basic Grey and I've put the two thin stips through my Cuttlebug using a folder from the Just My Type set of embossing folders. The black circles have also been put through my Cuttlebug using my Distressed Stripes embossing folder and then cut out with the smallest circle Nestability.

The ribbon started life as a black and white polka dot which I have then coloured with my black Pro Marker.
The weather has turned quite miserable today, very wet and grey - perfect for staying in and crafting ! Pity it's still work tomorrow, I did get quite confused this morning as I thought it was Wednesday, what a downer that was when I realised it wasn't. Might be because I'm wishing the week to go quicklyl..... I'll let you know why closer to the week end!

Think I've got it right this time !

I made sure I read the full instructions this time so I think I've got everything covered ! This card is for 2 challenges, Ready Steady Stamp who want you to use the above recipe, and also for Carol's Sketch Fun.

The main image is from a Katzelkraft stamp set which I've stamped with Vintage Photo Distress ink. I've then cut it out using a circle Nestability and before taking the die away I've sponged some Antique Linen and Scattered Straw around the edge. I've then used Adirondack Rust to paint the leaves. The background strip has been made using the distress inks technique over on Ready Steady Stamp. I then stamped the leaves from the same Katzelkraft stamp set over the top with Vintage Photo Distress ink. The corner stamp is from a Personal Impressions set which I've stamped in Sepia Archival ink.

The centre of the flower is a large brad which I've covered with hessian and then put it in the centre of an EK Success punched flower. The leaves are made using a Martha Stewart punch. The staple that's holding the ribbon, has been coloured using alcohol inks, which I put on the staples while they were still in the stapler. The edge punch is Fiskars.
Monday comes round far too quickly for my liking, but at least that's the worst day of the week over with. I was going to sit and watch the new David Attenborough programme tonight but when I saw snakes, that finished me off ! I don't do any thing that slithers nor creepy crawlies !

Mojo Monday Blue Christmas !

Don't you just love computers ! (not!) I've been trying to load my photos for that past half an hour and have given up with the more detailed shot as it just won't load. OK rant over ......this card is for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge and I was also planning on putting it in for the Allsorts challenge, but I missed the bit about using a sketch too !
This is the sketch I've followed, I wanted this at the top but didn't want to take it off and try and put it back on again in case it wouldn't load ! The stamps are all by Katzelkraft, I've stamped the main image with Ocean Depth Versamagic ink as well as the background images. I stamped the largest tree and then masked it off and stamped the smaller ones on top, again in Ocean Depth. The snowflake is cut using my Cricut Christmas Cheer cartridge and the edge punch I've used is by Martha Stewart. I've added some stickles to the swirls on the main image for a bit of sparkle and the sentiment is stamped in Ocean Depth too.

I've had a quiet day today as 'C' has been at work all day again. I must say I do get quite a bit of crafting time at the week ends at the moment, I don't know what I'll do when he's not at work !
Thanks for looking.

Back in time !

This is the sketch over on Crazy 4 Challenges. I've adapted it ever so slightly so I do hope I'm forgiven ! I've also tied this card in with 3 other challenges - Secret Crafter, which is to 'Dig Deep' and use a stamp from the bottom of your stamp drawer; Creative Card Crew wanted you to use Scallops and Our Creative Corner set a wonderful colour challenge, which I have to say is right up my street !

The main image and the background stamps are from a set of Rubbadubbado stamps that I bought several years ago. They were in the half price basket and I've used them so much over the years. I stamped the flower pot with black Memento ink onto a cream Bazill card then shaded it with Pro Markers ( the new colours are really coming in to their own!). I've cut it out using circle Nestabilites and then mounted it onto a scalloped Nestability circle which I've pierced all the way around the edge. I've distressed the edges of the card layers with my scissors. The background stamp has been stamped with Versamagic chalk ink and I've also sponged some of the same ink around the edge.

The ribbon is also an off white colour which I've stamped with the same background stamp and the same Versamagic chalk ink. I wasn't sure if it would work but it's taken really well and hasn't smudged at all ! As always the photo's are not true to life which is a real shame as this colour combination looks gorgeous together, even though I say so myself !
Well last night was the meal for my niece's 18th birthday. She loved her cards as well as the little bag I'd made, especially as it was filled with hand made chocolates ! The album was a huge hit too so all my hard work paid off. I definitely feel old though, looking at all of my nieces together dressed up ready to hit the town..... I was looking forward to a cup of tea and getting into my dressing gown !

It's finished !

I thought I would show you some of the pages from the album I've done for my niece who is 18 tomorrow. It's taken up quite alot of my time so I'm glad that I've finished it. As I knew I would, I have enjoyed doing it but I shan't be doing another one for a couple of years now until my next niece turns 18 ! The flowers on the above page are cut with my Cricut using the Walk in the Garden cartridge and the letters have been cut using the Olivia alphabet set for the Cuttlebug. I've cut the photo out using a square Nestability and then mounted it onto a scalloped square.

For this page I put some white card stock through my Cuttlebug using the diamonds embossing folder then rubbed Peeling Paint Distress ink over the top. I also rubbed the ink over the ribbon as it was too bright. The button is from my new mega bag of buttons, I can see they're not going to last very long !

The flowers on this page are a Cuttlebug die and the teardrop shapes are the cut out pieces from the top layer of the flower. I've drawn on them with a white gel pen to make them stand out a little. I've kept all of the pages very simple but I think the desired effect has been achieved.
It's been a reallly miserable day today, dark and wet. It was a real struggle getting up this morning when I could hear the rain outside. I definitely think that you shouldn't have to go to work when it's raining, it should be a compulsory craft day !

Autumn it is !

This is my card for 4 challenges all connected with Autumn. The leaves on the trees are really beautful colours now and the colours I've used tonight are as a result of their inspiration. So onto the challenges, they are as follows:

I started by inking some card with Adirondack Rust and then sanding the card to age it and also lighten the ink. I then stamped a leaf image over it with the same ink. It doesn't show up too well on the photo but it looks almost like a watermark. The embossed pieces are white card that has been put through the Cuttlebug using the Victoria embossing folder then I've inked it with Adirondack Sandal. The image is from the Ollyfant Autumn 2 set and I've stamped her in black Memento ink and shaded her mostly with my new Pro Markers. The new colours are absolutely gorgeous ! I've then cut her out using Nestabilities 8 and mounted her onto Basic Grey paper. The sentiment is stamped with Adirondack Rust and cut out with Nestabilities 8 and I've swiped some Rust ink around the edge. The flowers are courtesy of my friend Vic who spent the day with me on Saturday and brought over some of her Sizzix dies, so apologies I don't know what the die is called. The buttons are from a mega bag I picked up from the new craft shop in the village.

I've also sprayed fold Glimmer Mist over the top to give a shimmer but unfortunately it hasn't shown up at all on the photo, so you'll just have to take my word for it !
It's been a lovely Autumn day today and I was really wishing I could have been out walking rather than stuck at work. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed for some fine weather at the week end!

Good enough to eat !

This is the final 18th birthday card I need to make for my niece's birthday which is on Friday. I must say it's felt a bit like a marathon and I've not quite finished everything as I've still got the scrap book album to finish off. So onto this card, it actually fits with 2 challenges the first is the Papertake weekly challenge which is a sketch this week and the other is the One Stop Craft challenge which is to make a birthday card or project. Today was a good day even though it was a Monday as the post man delivered my new Pro Markers and also these wonderful stamps by Craft Uk. I stamped the main image with black Memento then shaded with Pro Markers and added some stickles to the sprinkles on the cake. I wiped Pearl Orchid Brilliance ink around the edge and mounted it onto some Basic Grey paper. The sentiment is also from the same set of stamps and I've stamped it with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The background paper is a pale pink Basic Grey paper and the diamond paper is by My Minds Eye, which is gorgeous as the lines are all glittered. I've coloured the pearls with a peel off pen and the circle is cut using my Nestabilities and the number is cut from the Cuttlebug alphabet, Olivia.

I think you can just about make out the glitter on the paper as well as the cup cake.
I've also make a box for one of the cards for my niece as when I came to put it against the envelope I realised it was too big ! So I've made a very simple box and before assembling it I stamped a Crafty Individuals swirl on to the lid with Smokey Grey Versafine ink. The flower is cut using my Cricut Walk in the Garden cartridge and brad put through the middle.

Unfortunately, as the box is white it doesn't show up too well and when I tried to alter the colours the ribbon changed from the gorgeous ruby red to black !
Well that's the worst day of the week over and done with though I have to say if I could have a lovely parcel delivered each Monday, I'm sure I could cope alot better !

Who stole the week end !

I can't believe it's Sunday night alreay, it only seems like 2 minutes ago I'd finished work for the week end ! This is another card for my niece's birthday on Friday and it also fits quite nicely with The Pink Elephant challenge which is to use the colours purple, orange, black and white. The main image is a stamp I've had for ages, apologies I don't know who it's by. I stamped it with black ink and then mixed some clear EP with some glitter EP and heat embossed it. I then cut the image out with Labels 6 Nestabilities and swiped some Adirondack Eggplant around the edge and mounted it on some purple Bazill card. I used a Fiskars edge punch on the white card across the centre. The paper is by Sandylion and the numbers were cut with the Cuttlebug Olivia alphabet set and I've swiped Eggplant around the edge of the white card.

I've dotted some glossy accents on the larger bubbles and then some stickles on the smaller ones to add to the sparkle of the embossing of the glass. I've painted the ribbon on the glass with purple H2Os.

I've had a brilliant week end as my friend Vic came over for the day yesterday. We went to the opening of the new craft shop in the village and then we spent the rest of the day crafting. The day went so quickly and we'd been looking forward to it for so long. We'll just need to plan in another one.....soon !

Something completely different ....and it's pink !

After you've picked yourself up off the floor from seeing pink and babies in the same post....lol.... this is part of a larger project I'm doing at the moment for my niece who turns 18 a week today. I'm making an album from birth to present day and this is one of the pages. I'm not a scrapbooker at heart so I'm keeping it really simple, plus time is running out fast ! The letters are cut using the Cuttlebug Olivia alphabet stamp and the quotation marks are cut using my Cricut. The large flowers are a Cuttlebug die and the smaller ones are punched with a pearl in the centre. Sorry folks I don't know who the paper is by as it was a scrap piece which, by a miracle, was the right size.

Well I can honestly say I am absolutely shattered ! I've been out all day helping at a Mencap school in their garden, and I don't know where aches the most! Thankfully it stayed dry and they were really appreciative of the help so it was a really worth while day. I'm struggling to keep my eyes open at the moment so I can see me sloping off to bed pretty soon. Physical exercise and me just don't mix !

Seeing stars !

This is my card for the Mojo Monday challenge and also for Winter Wonderland's challenge of Sleigh Bells Ring. The papers are Basic Grey and I've stamped the strip across the card with a snowflake stamp from a Habico set in Adirondack Pesto ink. I've embossed some white card with a Cuttlebug embossing folder then inked it with Distress Inks in Antique Linen and Scattered Straw. The sleigh is cut out on my Cricut and the word is from a Katzelkraft set of stamps, again stamped with Pesto and I've added some gold stickles for a bit of sparkle.

I love these rich colours of the Basic Grey paper, they are just so yummy !
It's been a really lovely day here today, a real taste of Autumn. Looks like rain tomorrow though....lol.....I'm going to be outside for most of tomorrow, so wouldn't you just know the weather's going to change. At least it's Friday and the new craft shop in the village opens on Saturday so I know where I will be heading !

Autumn colours

This is my card for 2 challenges; C.R.A.F.T challenge had a fab sketch and the One Stop Craft challenge is Autumn Inspiration. I started by using my brayer with Antique Linen Distress ink and then using Rust Adirondack. I screwed up a piece of paper then rolled my brayer over it with the Rust ink. This gave a mottled finish to the card, then I stamped the main image, which is from a Katzelkraft stamp set, with Vintage Photo Distress ink. I cut it out using a circle Nestability. The papers are all Basic Grey and I stamped a Crafty Individuals swirl onto the base paper with Brilliance Ivy ink. The sentiment is from a Serendipity set of stamps which I've stamped in Pesto Adirondack and then swiped some Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress ink around the edge.

When I'd assembled the card I then added some gold stickles to the branches of the tree. The lighting tonight seems to be really poor as the colours are so washed out, and my efforts to change that only made things worse !

My 'lurgy' feelings seem to have disappeared, so I'm not saying that too loudly as you know what will happen !

2 down 2 to go !

This is the second card I've made for my niece's 18th birthday next week. Just need to make 2 more ! Still with the horse theme, I'd fogotten I'd got this stamp I bought it years ago and I think I've only used it once. So this card also fits with the Passion for ProMarkers challenge which is to use any colours but to stick to the recipe of 3 shapes, 2 papers and 1 ribbon. I'm also putting it into the challenges for the Creative Card Crew and Secret Crafter as they are both 'Celebration'. I stamped the main image, which is a Penny Black stamp, with black Memento ink then shaded it with Faber Castell pens and Pro Markers. I wanted the horse to look dappled so left gaps in the shading. I think it worked quite well ! I then cut it out with Labels 5 Nestabilities and sponged some Shabby Shutters Distress ink around the edge. The papers are both Basic Grey and I've used a Fiskars edge punch on one of the papers and the Bazill card. I've used a corner stamp with Sandal Adirondack ink to give a watermark effect in the corners. The 2 corner dies are from a Cuttlebug set and I've coloured the pearls with a peel off pen. The numbers were cut using my Cricut and mounted onto white card cut out with a circle Nestability and Shabby Shutters has been sponged around the edge.

I think the colours are slightly better on this photo, still not as good as the real thing !
Well it's absolutely pouring it down outside so it's quite nice being inside listening to it. I just hope it stops before I have to venture out in it tomorrow. I've got a very hot nose at the moment so I've got everything crossed I'm not getting the 'lurgy' that everyone at work seems to be catching. Fingers crossed !

All 4 in one !

This is my creation to cover 4 different challenges, I've surprised myself doing all 4 in one go ! The challenges are:

So the bag template is another from Papertrey Ink which I've cut out in white card then covered with the polka dot paper - sorry I don't know who the paper is by as it was out of a bargain basket ! The layered piece of white card has been put through the Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder, I've also scribbled over it with a Versamark pen then sprinkled tinsel embossing powder over it. The main image is from a set of Habico stamps, which has been stamped with black Memento ink. The little bit of colour you can see is an orange Pro Marker. I've then added some Puffy Paint to the post box and sprinkled some glitter embossing powder onto it before heating. I love the way it puffs up ! I've used the Versamark pen on the right hand side of the snowman and sprinkled it with Ranger Snowflake embossing powder.

I've then used circle Nestabilities to cut out the main image and mounted it onto a black scalloped circle Nestability that I've gone round the edge with the Versamark pen and the Range embossing powder.
I've really enjoyed making this bag, as it makes a change from cards. I can see me making some more of these as I'm determined to make all of my own gift wrap/bags this year. Best laid plans and all that !

Promarker Purse !

This is for the Pro Marker challenge which is to use Cool Aqua, Apricot and also a flower. I stamped the flower , sorry I don't know who it's by, all over the white card with black Memento ink then shaded all of them with Cool Aqua, Apricot and added some Pumpkin on the detail lines. I then cut the purse out and assembled it. I cut out a smaller piece for the purse flap from Bazill card and stamped the flower all over this too. The template is from Papertrey Ink and I've been wanting to have a go with it for some time. As it's my niece's 18th Birthday soon I thought this would be good for holding some 'special' chocolates.

The tag is a Quickutz die which I've added some peel offs to that have been coloured with a peel off pen. I've added some gems to the some of the flowers and attached the handle with brads with coloured pearls.
Well it's been the most beautful Autumn day here, the sun has shone all day. I've managed to dry all of my washing out side, which I really love. I hate it when the dark nights arrive along with the grey murky days. Roll on Spring I say !

18th Birthday !

This card is for my sister to give to her daughter who will be 18 in 2 weeks time. She's absolutely crazy about horses so this stamp was perfect. It also fits with the Secret Crafter challenge of animal antics (though the horse isn't actually doing any thing!) , The Pink Elephant challenge of dots, punch tag and the Basic Grey challenge of embossing. The main image is a Serendipity stamp that I've stamped in black Stazon and then cut out with Labels 8 Nestabilites. I've sponged some Slate Adirondack around the edge. I've embossed the bottom of the card using one of the Cuttlebug embossing folders and also embossed a line top and bottom to frame it. I've then punched holes using my Cropodile and threaded ribbon through it and then added this most gorgeous brad.

You can see the brad better on this shot. The tag was made by printing the word on the PC and then cutting it out with the smallest Labels 8 Nestability. I've sponged some Cranberry then some Slate Adirondack ink around the edge, punched a hole and threaded some ribbon through. The flowers have been punched from the same Basic Grey papers as the background and the leaves are a Martha Stewart punch, that I've run an embossing tool over the back. The numbers have been cut using the Cuttlebug Olivia alphabet.
Glad it's the end of another week, I'm going shopping with my sister tomorrow so no doubt there will be a lovely lunch included !
