Distressed Anniversary !

This is my card for the following challenges :

This is quite a simple card as I've not had much time over the week end and I'm away on a course for the next couple of days. The paper is Stampin' Up and I've used Worn Lipstick and Brushed Corduroy Distress Inks around the edge of the layered pieces. The hearts are a Martha Stewart punch which I won in some blog candy....cool heh ! I've blended Distress Inks around the edge of the hearts and used some tapestry thread to sew around the edges. I've mounted them onto a circle cut with Nestabilities and blended with Distress Inks. This in turn is mounted onto a Labels 3 layer which I've stamped with a background stamp from Stampin' Up called En Francais, stamped in Worn Lipstick Distress Ink then blended Brushed Corduroy around the edge.

The lace is from my stash and I've had it ages and never really found the right project for it, but when I looked at the list of anniversaries it was perfect !

Right best go and pack now, hope you all have a good start to your week !

Thanks for looking
Sue

  1. What a super piece of work. You have achieved a wonderful vintage feel. The punched hearts really look like chipboard. I love how you have distressed and stitched them. So great to see you participating in the anniversary challenge over at Our Creative Corner. Hope you can have fun with us again next week.

Have a great week and don't work to hard at your course!

    Hugs,
