Birthday blog hop !

Welcome to eclectic Paperie's Belated Birthday Bash!  Today we're celebrating the (belated) one year anniversary of the store's new ownership! It's been an amazing year, full of inspiring projects, wonderful classes, and many, many new products!!

eclectic Paperie wouldn't be where it is today without the ongoing support of our customers and as a BIG thank you, you'll have an opportunity to win lots of great prizes!  eclectic Paperie will be giving away the following prizes!  You have until midnight tomorrow (20/9) to comment:

A full set of Tim's NEW Distress Paints
6x6 Paper Pad Bundle
Dylusions Stencil Bundle
A set of NEW Wendy Vecchi Archival Inks
Crafter's Workshop Stencil Bundle

So, for today's project I've used a chunky hanging board.

I've used the Crafters Workshop Swirly Vine stencil with Wendy Vecchi's embossing paste.

Once the embossing paste was dry I then used a baby wipe with chalk acrylic paint.

I then used the Roman Letters and the Mini Numbers stencils again using chalk acrylic paint.

I stamped the flower from the Wendy Vecchi The Purpose of Art set with black Archival ink and then painted it with Distress Markers

I painted a piece of mount board with a dark purple chalk acrylic paint and when it was dry then I swiped a lighter colour paint over the top. I  then stamped the sentiment from The Purpose of Art stamp set using black Archval ink.

I brushed White Fire Treasure Gold around the edges and also over the raised areas. The small flower has been painted with chalk acrylic paint and then I've brushed Treasure Gold over that too. The pearls on the lace have all been sewn on by hand.

The little bird cage is by Maya Road and I've painted it with chalk acrylic paint, then I gave it a coat of Crackle Glaze then another coat of paint. When it was dry I brush Treasure Gold over it too. The little butterfly is by Petaloo and the colour of it wasn't quite right so I painted the wings with watered down acrylic paint. I've added three little metal beads to create a chain, I didn't like the bird cage suspended in the middle of nowhere !

To be entered into the prize drawing, please be sure to comment on the eclectic Paperie blog and on each of the eTeam blogs.  Check out all of the thumbnail links below to view the rest of the eTeam projects!  Enjoy the hop!
