Stencil it no,2 !

I'm back today with my second project for the current Country View Crafts challenge, Stencil it. I took the opportunity to finish off a project that I started earlier in the year at a PaperArtsy workshop taken by the lovely Lin Brown.

The canvas was first covered with a piece of the Chatsworth collection paper and it was stencilled with Snowflake Fresco Finish paint. It then had a coat of Chartreuse and Tikka Fresco Finish paint.

The bull rushes are stencilled using Lin Brown's 004 stencil and the 'bumping' technique has also been used. The large flowers are also done using a Lin Brown stencil and again the bunping technique has been used. The flower on the smaller arch is a Darcy stamp and the flower on the front of the arch is also a Darcy stamp which has been painted and cut out. The larger arch is cut from cardboard and some Grunge Paste has been used with another Lin Brown stencil. When it was dry it was painted with French Roast FF and Treasure Gold rubbed around the edge.

The vine and birdcage are both Darcy stamps and they've been cut out and painted. The text is from the Lin Brown 005 set, I've stamped them with black Archival ink and then cut it up and glued it to some mountboard to make tiles. The dragonfly is from my stash.
